Agora DID
Essentially, Agora is significantly different from centralized applications such as Twitter. Registration on Agora is based on private-public key pairs, specifically Optimism addresses.Agora's on-chain component is primarily concerned with authentication, whereby users create a unique Agora DID address as their permanent identifier within the Agora ecosystem, and link user accounts, social data and assets. In the future, soul tokens or soul NFT identity credentials will also be bound and the contract stipulates that each account can only have one Agora DID address. This design safeguards against censorship as well as the user's right to own and control his or her own data and assets, as the Agora DID is based on the Optimism blockchain.
